Most of the celtic knots have a metallic background to be true to the history of the Celts, who were master metal workers. We are very proud of our ancient Celtic Knots, and have done extensive research, to find the meaning or at least the location the knots were found - for these gifts of an ancient society.

This Celtic knot was found at Lagore Crannog, although it's actual meaning is lost in the mists of time, we think it's a lovely simple knot. The knot is aqua against an ancient antique silver.

From the three colors red, blue and green, all other color sensations can be made. So in this simple example of white light, we can see how unity was divided into individual unique qualities. Because white light can not exist without it's opposite (darkness) black, we have the first duality or polar opposite from a common undefined source. Thus our Trinity Symbol is inside a white circle on a black iridescent background.
This Celtic knot (or Cross, surrounded by celtic knotwork) is adapted from a plaitwork panel in the Book of Durrow, an illuminated Gospel Book of Celtic Art. This book dates back to the 7th century. The cross is dark blue, surrounded by dark and light rose knotwork on a gold metallic.
This celtic knot was found on the Tara Brooch which was found in County Meath, this brooch had many many intertwined celtic knots on both the front and back surfaces. This knot is associated with the High Kings of Tara. The knot is two shades of blue on a blueberry iridescent background.
